UniStars is committed to giving users control over their personal data. If you would like to delete your UniStars account, follow the steps below.
How to request account deletion
In the UniStars app
Open UniStars.
Go to Profile.
Open Settings.
Select Delete account.
Confirm your request.
If you cannot access the app
Send an email to info@unistars.app from the email address linked to your account and include the subject line: Account Deletion Request
Our team will process your request and confirm when the deletion is completed.
What data will be deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
Profile information
Contact details
Study preferences
Applications and inquiries submitted through UniStars
Messages and community content associated with your account
Uploaded documents and files
What data may be retained
We may retain certain information when required by law, for security purposes, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or to comply with legal obligations. This information is restricted and is not used for marketing purposes.
Data retention period
Account and profile data are deleted within 30 days after the deletion request is processed.
Backup copies may remain in secure systems for up to 90 days before automatic removal.
Information that must be retained for legal or regulatory reasons may be stored for the period required by applicable law.
